William Compton

William leads the design and delivery of a progressive global IT strategy at Seagen and has over 20 years of experience in the information technology in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry. He has over 15 years of experience serving in the CIO capacity.

Prior to joining Seagen, he was CIO at Integra Life Sciences where he led the IT function through several growth phases that included over a dozen acquisitions. William also held various IT leadership roles over a ten-year span at Bristol Meyers Squibb where he became CIO of ConvaTec, a business unit that transitioned to a standalone company.

William holds a B.S. in Business from East Carolina University and holds an MBA from The College of William and Mary.
