Your Privacy Rights

The CCPA and CPRA provide California residents with the following rights set forth below.

  • Right to request access to the information we maintain about you, no more than twice in a 12-month period:

    • The categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you; 
    • The categories and sources from which personal information is collected;
    • The business or commercial purposes for collecting, selling, or sharing personal information; and
    • The categories of third-parties with whom we share personal information.

We will provide this information upon receipt of a verifiable consumer request.  How we will verify your identity depends on how you’ve interacted with us in the past.  For example, if you applied for a job or created an online account, we may ask you to login to your applicant profile or account, or we may contact you to ask for information and check whether it matches information that we maintain about you. 

  • Right to request that we delete any personal information about you that we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.  For example, Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.105(d)(8) gives us the right to refuse to delete personal information associated with an adverse event report, as required to comply with a legal obligation.  If we are required to delete your personal information, then upon receipt of a verifiable request, we will delete your personal information from our records and direct any service providers to delete your personal information from their records.
  • Right to request correction of inaccurate personal information about you that we have collected from you.
  • Right to opt-out of the “sale” or “share” of your personal information (as defined in the CCPA and CPRA respectively).  We do not sell or share your personal information with third-parties except for limited purposes specified under contract and otherwise not defined to be a "sale" or "sharing" by CCPA. Some third-party cookies placed on our website may be considered a “sale or share” as used for our “targeted” or “cross-contextual” advertising campaigns under California law.  You can opt-out of such cookies as detailed in “Use of Cookies and Tracking Technologies” section (above) or by exercising “Your Privacy Choices” through our Cookie Preference Center link.
  • Right to limit the use or disclosure of your sensitive personal information, as defined in the CCPA, in certain circumstances.  We only disclose your sensitive personal information for the following purposes:

    • To resist malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal actions and prosecute those responsible;

    • To perform services on our behalf, such as maintaining or servicing accounts, providing customer service, processing or fulfilling orders/ transactions, verifying customer information, processing payments, providing financing, providing analytic services, providing storage, or providing similar services;
    • To comply with laws, rules, or regulations or to comply with legal process; and
    • To verify, maintain, or enhance a service or device that we own, manufacture, or control.

California residents can exercise their rights by calling us at 1 (833) 740-0194 or submitting a request with our  online form.  You can designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf by providing the agent with power of attorney.   We may require the authorized agent to provide proof that you gave the agent signed permission to submit the request, as well as verification of your identity or confirmation that you have duly authorized the agent permission to submit the request.  We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
