Culture

Since our founding in 1998, we’ve worked to create a culture we can be proud of. We prioritize opportunities to build community, respect, and collaboration—whether it’s through volunteering, after-work sports, or clinical problem solving.

Our Values
Seagen job culture

A CULTURE THAT BUILDS COMMUNITY

Seagen Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
Diversity makes us work

We believe that fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion is a key element to discovering, developing, and bringing transformative therapies to patients with cancer.

Seagen Building 10 Lobby
Fostering open communication

We host regular Friday Morning Meetings to promote transparency and share important updates about our work. During these one-hour meetings, the entire company comes together to learn about an area of the organization.

Seagen culture events
Celebrating food and fun

Regular happy hours and team events give Seagen employees a chance to unwind, celebrate milestones, and connect with colleagues. Every year, we organize signature events, like the March Madness competition, Chili Cookoff, and Bite of Seagen, a food truck rally at the Bothell campus.

Seagen science culture
Sharing new ideas

Our annual Science Day celebrates the outstanding work being done at Seagen. Teams across the entire organization are encouraged to submit abstracts to share exciting data and new ideas with colleagues during poster sessions and oral presentations.

Seagen bike culture
Encouraging healthier communities and commutes

Every year in May, we sponsor a Bike to Work Month to encourage green commuting and give back to our community. For each mile biked, we donate $1 to a local nonprofit organization.

Our commitment to citizenship

Seagen’s dedication to improving the lives of patients goes beyond science. As a company, we’re committed to purposeful contribution.

Every year, our team participates in events to raise awareness and funds for nonprofit organizations in our community. We also provide grants for education, research, and advocacy programs in cancer care.
