Our commitment to citizenship
Seagen’s dedication to improving the lives of patients goes beyond science. As a company, we’re committed to purposeful contribution.
Every year, our team participates in events to raise awareness and funds for nonprofit organizations in our community. We also provide grants for education, research, and advocacy programs in cancer care.
Greater Seattle area
Our global headquarters are located in the greater Seattle area in the Pacific Northwest. It’s easy to play as hard as you work with proximity to Vancouver, British Columbia; the San Juan Islands; Portland, Oregon; and the Olympic and Cascade mountains.

Food lovers will appreciate a rapidly growing culinary culture, highlighting local seafood and Washington state wine. Round out a weekend by cheering on local teams like Seattle Seahawks football, Seattle Mariners baseball, or Seattle Sounders FC soccer.
The Pacific Northwest is also rich in scientific research and discovery, as a home to leading academic and research institutions like Life Science Washington, University of Washington, and Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.
San Francisco
Known as the birthplace of biotechnology, San Francisco was a natural choice for our second office in the United States. This coastal city benefits from a mild climate, ample greenspace, and sweeping views of the bay and Golden Gate Bridge.
The Bay Area has a thriving culinary scene, with more than 50 Michelin-starred restaurants. Catch a glimpse of sea lions basking in the sun while enjoying fresh seafood at the food stalls and restaurants of Fisherman’s Wharf. Lovers of the arts and sciences will appreciate San Francisco’s renowned institutions, like the California Academy of Sciences, the SFMOMA, or the de Young museum. Sports fans might enjoy a weekend spent cheering on the San Francisco Giants or the 49ers.
Near San Francisco, there are many opportunities to explore nature. Visit spectacular national parks, like the redwoods at Muir Woods, or escape north to Sonoma and Napa Valley wine country.
